MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international advancements into Latin popular music scene. Una Lady Como Tu (his 2016 hit) received a Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. In 2017, he released ADN, his first long-player to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. This album peaked at eight in the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was an instant Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. Mala Influencia is his collaboration with Noriel in the year 2020. In the following year, Dopamina became his second album. He also was in a duet with TINI to perform her streaming track Maldita Foto. The singer appeared with him in 2023 for 2000, which included the huge hit La Bachata. Turizo comes from an instrumental background. Both his parents and brother are musicians. According to him, musicality was an integral element of his existence. As a child he learned to play the saxophone and ukulele and piano. Although his first career choice was becoming an animal veterinarian His brother Julian encouraged him to start studying singing with an instructor in Cuban. The lessons transformed his life forever.
