Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig November 21, 1983) is an American actress, best recognized for her performances in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television show Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. After the divorce of her parents the actress left Worthington, Ohio to live with her family in Los Angeles. It was a struggle to survive when she got her first role in acting in the film Rachel's Room's leading character. Her performance of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the TV movie Murder in Greenwich in 2002 earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. In 2004, Grace was selected to portray Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost on which she acted as a principal actor for the first two seasons winning a Screen Actors Guild Award shared by the entire cast. After leaving the show, Grace was keen to work as a film actress, and had starred opposite Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. The following year, she was on screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well as, alongside Liam Neeson's Kim Mills as Kim Mills for Taken. The role was reprised as Kim Mills in Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the lead role Alice In Malice in Wonderland a modern version of Lewis Carroll's classic novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to her role as Shannon in Lost, including the finale. In 2013 she appears in Season 6 of Californication. The role she plays is Faith as a girl who acts as a muse to the stars and catches the attention of Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. She belongs to the Gyllenhaal family and is the sister to Jake Gyllenhaal. As a teenager She appeared in small roles in the films of her father and she co-starred alongside her sister in Donnie Darko which is a cult classic. Then she appeared on the screen in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal has received critical praise for her leading roles in Secretary (2002 an erotic romantic drama) as well as Sherrybaby (606), both of which garnered her Golden Globe Award nods. The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008, following many highly successful movies, such as World Trade Center (2006) which brought her greater recognition, was a huge success for Gyllenhaal. The film was nominated for an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress for her role in Crazy Heart, (2009). She subsequently starred in the comedies and dramas: Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and Won't Back Down (2012). In addition to her role as a Secret Service agent, she also appeared in White House Down (2013) as well as Frank (2014). One of her most recent roles include her character as the primary protagonist in The Kindergarten Teacher (2018). Gyllenhaal's first film as a writer and director was in 2021 with The Lost Daughter, a psychological drama in which she won the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award. The film also won an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
